A Church That Feeds and Brings Hope 🍲

“Thank You, God, for this church and for the food here.” 🙏🍲

These simple words of gratitude are the prayer of one of the children during a meal prepared by the “Living Water” Church in Lutsk.

This is one of the ministries we support in Ukraine 🇺🇦. Three times a week, volunteers from the church cook for around 40 children for whom poverty is part of everyday life. For many of them, it’s not just a meal, but a moment when, for the first time that day, they feel that someone cares about them ❤️.

It is also a space of safety and hope 🤍. The children learn to pray, listen to God’s Word, and discover that they are valued. What they receive here, they carry back to their homes and share with their peers.

We are inspired by the words of Ola, who coordinates this work:

“The church becomes a place where the hungry receive help, where children find a family, and where hearts gradually open to God’s love.” ✨
