A few days ago, we had the privilege of hosting Pastor Yasushi from Tokyo. This spring, he will return to Poland with a group of 23 volunteers from Japan to help organize a camp for children who have experienced refugee trauma.
This initiative is carried out in cooperation with the Ukrainian Baptist Church in Warsaw and the Christian Joy Foundation.
Pastor Yasushi also brought a special gift — canned bread known as “manna.” Thanks to a preservation process, it can remain fresh for several years. In Japan, it is standard emergency food stored in shelters due to frequent earthquakes.
Each can also includes drawings and greetings from Japanese students, which will soon reach children on our side of the globe 🌍.
