Care and Compassion Continues in Ukraine

Every week, veterans in Ukraine receive support — not only practical, but also spiritual and emotional.
Supported by BCA, the team of chaplains from the Irpin Bible Church visits hospitals and homes, leads Bible studies, provides equine therapy, offers psychological support, and organizes prayer meetings for veterans.
Their children enjoyed a Christmas performance, and the variety of activities helps reach those who need hope the most.
Among them is Serhii — a soldier who lost both his brother and wife within just a few weeks. Crushed by grief, he ended up on a therapy retreat almost by accident. After a session of equine therapy, he said he felt better.
Later, he began attending church services and prayer gatherings. To this day, he sends a message to the team chaplain every morning: “Have a good and blessed morning.”
This is just one of many stories that show how light truly can break through even the deepest darkness.
Let it encourage us to keep doing good for those who need it the most.
