Spring reminds us that everything beautiful and green on the surface begins with strong, though invisible, roots.
Christian communities from Ukraine and Belarus living in Poland are creating spaces that help others find their footing in a new reality.
They organize regular events — Polish language courses, help with formalities, workshops, and spiritual support.
It's in these spaces, step by step, that people who had to leave their entire world behind can feel part of a community again — and begin to bloom.
Since the beginning of March, we've supported 10 such initiatives — over 250 people are taking part in them through the Polish Baptist Church communities!
In Orzesze, a Polish language course is being run by the local Baptist church.
One of the participants, Dima, shares:
We’re highly motivated. The course started with a placement test, which helped identify the right learning method. We work with video materials and a textbook. During the lessons, we focus on conversation and try to eliminate language errors. We have a great connection with the instructor.
If you’d like to help others grow New Roots, you can support the program here.
