Meet the “Irreplaceable Family” – the Łoboda family

-extraordinary people we had the honor of meeting during our family camp.

Maciej and Sylwia have been married for 13 years. 😁 Full of energy, smiles, and a passion for sports – both work as PE teachers. ⛹️‍♀️ A few years ago, when they heard about the opportunity to become a foster family, they agreed right away: “If there’s a chance – we’ll go for it.”

And that chance came sooner than they expected.

A sibling group of four urgently needed a safe home. ⏱ There was no time to prepare – no furnished bedrooms, no clothes, no essentials... But they made the decision. The children were welcomed with open hearts.

🥹 As they themselves say – a miracle happened. Neighbors, friends, and church members all came together to help. They brought clothes, furniture, toys… even sleds for winter. There was so much that it could’ve equipped another family too.

💙 Today, four years later, the children are fully and permanently part of their family. Though everyday life still takes effort and constant adjustment, love, stability, and a sense of safety have become their new normal. 🏃‍♀️ The whole family loves sports – they play ball, dance, and run together.

For us, it’s a privilege to know them – and to share their story with others. 🏆💪
